SCIC Beijing reserves the right at any time after receipt of your application to accept or decline your application for any reason. We may require additional verifications or information before accepting any application.
Age and Responsibility:
You represent and warrant that you are of sufficient legal age to use this site and to create binding legal obligations for any liability you may incur as a result of the use of this site. You agree to be financially responsible for all of your use of this web site, including without limitation minors living with you.
The terms and conditions set forth above constitute the entire agreement between us relating to the subject matter hereof, and supersedes any prior understandings or agreements (whether oral or written) regarding the subject matter, and may not be amended or modified except in writing.

Jurisdiction and Venue:
You agree that any legal action brought against SCIC Beijing shall be governed by the laws of China. You agree that the sole jurisdiction and venue for any litigation arising from your use of or orders made on this website shall be an appropriate federal. Additional Terms: Additional terms and conditions may apply to reservations, purchases of goods and services and other uses of portions of this site, and you agree to abide by such other terms and conditions.
Visa & Passport:
You understand and accept that it is your responsibility to obtain a valid passport and visa for your entry into China, and in the event you can not obtain the visa for participation you shall not hold SCIC Beijing responsible. Failure to secure the necessary travel documents such as passports or visas does not constitute grounds for a refund.
Safety, Healthy and Insurance:
You expressly acknowledge and agree a condition of traveling on a SCIC Beijing program that you shall have no rights whatsoever, directly, under any theory at law or in equity against SCIC Beijing. You understand that insurance is your sole responsibility and that SCIC Beijing will not obtain any insurance for you on your behalf.
You hereby grant SCIC Beijing and its full authority to take whatever actions they may consider to be warranted due to any international or political unrest, personal emergency or other event regarding my health and safety, and you fully release each of them from any ability for such decisions or actions as may be taken in connection therewith.
You authorize SCIC Beijing and its agents at their discretion to place at your own expense and without your further consent in the hands of a Chinese or international medical service and treatment. If deemed necessary or desirable by SCIC Beijing, you authorize them to transport you back to your home country by commercial or otherwise at my own expense for medical treatment.
Tours, Social/ cultural Activities:
You understand that you are eligible to participate as many as you want in each of those activities, but that SCIC Beijing will only cover the costs of admission tickets, transportation and English guides for each of the activities once while you are a program participant. Subsequent participation of the same activity on your part will be at your own expense. In addition, unless expressly agreed by SCIC Beijing, food and drinks are also to be at your own expense.
This agreement shall become effective when my application is accepted by SCIC Beijing, and shall be construed and enforced in accordance with, and the rights of the parties shall be governed by, the laws of the People's Republic of China applicable thereto (at the choice of SCIC Beijing).
You hereby waive and release all claims against SCIC Beijing, including any entity employed by SCIC Beijing and host institutions for any controls, including acts of God, incidents of politically-motivated violence, sickness, vehicle railroad, taxi service, hotel, restaurants, or other firm, agency, company or individual. You understand that you are responsible for exercising caution and common sense at all times to avoid injuries.
If your participation is terminated, you consent to being sent home on my own (or your parentsí) expense with no refund of fees. If you leave the program voluntarily for any reason, there will be no refund of fees already paid.
Refund Policy: your application, required documents and payment for SCIC Beijing services are submitted to and confirmed by SCIC Beijing. SCIC Beijing will enroll you onto your chosen program. However, if, due to unforeseen reasons or circumstances (owing to change of mind, financial/legal difficulties or otherwise), you are unable to participate and must withdraw from your chosen study or travel program, you will be entitled to a refund in the event of cancelling a confirmed booking or application.
