-Private Course with Prof Huang

Private Course with Professor Huang Kanghui
(Beijing Sport University)

Name: Vilad
Nationality: German
Age: 19
Course Title: Push Hand (Private Classes)
Course Date: 18th August - 21 August 2010

I came with a group people from Germany, after 2 weeks sightseeing and travellings I was arranged by SCIC martial arts division to take a 3 days private course.

I had 3 hours class in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon. on the class we firstly stretched a little bit, then worked on the tai chi steps and hand rolling movements to warm up. Professor huang was very good - he explained movements  in a clear and clean way. he's very patient.

The only problem on the class was he only speaks basic English and some movements could not be get right what he explained, He kept mention to me: Basics, Basics and Basics....but I was ok to understand the key points and techniques of the puch hands. He also taught me 8 new techniqes which had never been learnt in my country.

Altough the course was really short but the key point is strong foundation keep practice basic movements and keep repeat, as I learnt that you need a very steady stance but with a flexible moving steps, also reallly understand how to control your strength and use the princple of Yin and Yang.
