|Thanks Letters from UK Participants 2009
It has taken me a long time to e mail you to thank you for such a wonderful visit to China last month. I am still absorbing everything so it is part of a longer study and thought.
For me it was an exciting life experience. I do not travel widely and liked the purpose of the visit which we had rather than just looking at sights. It has also given new purpose to our Tai Chi in Michael's class.
Thank you also to Jack who looked after us so well - as we would say - well beyond the call of duty!
I hope we will see you again sometime when you come to the UK
All the very best to you and SCIC Beijing
Dear Chen & Jack
Having now arrived back into the realms of reality I just wanted to write to thank you for co-ordinating our amazing China travel/training experience.
Everyone here is pinching themselves to make sure the trip really happened and we cannot quite contemplate some of the wonderful things we saw and experienced. It truly was a wonderful 2.5 weeks which we managed to survive as one.
Martene is in process of refining the travelogue of our trip. I understand that she is half way there and will send it through to you once she has finished.
Before signing off, I also want to thank you so much for the beautiful jade bangle. It is really gorgeous and I will always treasure it. It is so very kind of you.
I hope you will look us up when you next come to the UK .
Till then... All the best
Dear Chen Lei
Hi there from downunder Australia. Thank you so much again for a wonderful time in China - I really miss not being there. I learnt a lot and felt very humble by the experience. The people are so kind and friendly. The food was sensational and I am drinking so much tea now. I have gone from 10 cups of coffee a day to one and the rest of the time I am drinking Chinese tea.
I will be back one day and am telling everyone over here to have a look on the new programs on SCIC Beijing's web site www.scic-beijing.com

Just to let you know that I finally arrived home here in Scotland after leaving Beijing last Sunday.
Not that it took me that much longer to travel northwards, but I did stay with Mary Callaghan for a day first of all then once home became immersed in sorting out all the paperwork that inevitably seems to accumulate when I go away!
The trip arranged by your organisation was simply terrific! It exceeded all our expectations in variety, strength of experience and sheer enjoyment. I want to thank you and our guide, Jack, who made it all such a memorable time for us. I have told everyone in my family that this is the best way to be introduced to China and to have one of the most fascinating holidays ever.
The arrangements made went very smoothly and where alterations were needed it only seemed to add to our overall experience. So, once again many thanks for making it such a fantastic time and for helping me to fulfil my dream of visiting China - a dream I have had since I was a small child quite some time ago!
Very best wishes
Just to let you know that we arrived back in England late night, completely shattered from the long and wonderful time we had in China.
Thank you once again for all your hard work and for looking after us so well. We had such an enjoyable time that it was hard and little sad to leave and come home.
I am writing to thank you and SCIC Beijing for the wonderful time we had in China. It was a truly amazing trip and I am sure a lot of work went into organzing the tour. I and the rest of the group really appreciated all the lovely sites we visited, the tai chi workshops and the wonderful Chinese food.
I also wanted to mention the blue/green short sleeved cardigan I left in the coach or perhaps in the restaurant last Friday? Perhaps if you have time you can check whether it is there. Also I bought a jade harmony circle in the hotel on Saturday morning and I think I left it there. Would it be possible to ask if they have it in the hotel shop. I paid 120 yuan for it. Or let me have the email address for the hotel but I am not sure they would understand the message in view of language difficulties.
Apologies for giving you extra work, but thanks again for one of the best holidays I have been on.
