Beijing Film Academy
Beijing Film Academy, founded in the 1950s, is the largest film academy in Asia. It enjoys a strong reputation and offers teaching in film production, management and theory. It is the only specialized film institution in Chinese higher education. It has produced a number of award-winning graduates who had received attention in major international film festivals. Beijing Film Academy has attracted a large batch of overseas students from over 50 countries including America, Russia, France, German, Italy, Korea, and Japan.
The BFA has a comprehensive course aimed at foreign students studying short-term which includes directing, cinematography, animation, recording and performing. Chinese languages courses are also offered at basic, intermediate and advanced levels. Students can choose the category suitable for their level. Overseas students also have the opportunity to study films in Chinese.
Students can stay in foreign student apartments, either single room or double room, with bathroom, telephone, air-condition, book shelf, TV, internet, and laundry and shopping facilities nearby.
