Martial Arts Immersion

This is a unique trip that is specially designed for Tai Chi, Wushu, Kung Fu schools, clubs, organizations and Chinese cultural enthusiasts, families and anyone interested in experiencing authentic Chinese culture. The trip is flexible to suit the needs of groups or individuals, all centred around China's famous martial arts history and practice.

Trip Includes:

-Training with the Masters in Martial Arts workshops in Beijing, Shaolin Temple and Chen Village.
-Seeing all the sights including the Great Wall, the Forbidden City and Longmen Caves.
-Learning new skills like Chinese calligraphy, paper cutting and Chinese Medicine.

1. Martial Arts Workshops

Learn or train Chinese Martial Arts, Wushu, Qigong and Taijiquan (Tai Chi) in the land of their origins, under the guidance of famous Chinese masters both young and old. Our martial arts workshops encompass traditional and contemporary styles as well as external and internal forms. The external group includes Modern Wushu, Traditional Kung Fu and Sanshou. The internal group includes Tai Chi, Tai Chi weaponry and Chi Gong. In Shaolin, there will be three groups: Buddhism Qigong, Shaolin Empty Hand Forms and Weapon Forms. In Chen Village, there will be also be three groups: Chen-style Tai Chi, Tai Chi Weaponry and Pushing Hands. All workshops will focus on improving students' levels through intensive basic training and learning of new competition forms. (Suitable for both beginners and advanced students).

Training Certificate

All participants will be given a certificate signed by the masters and certifying all training sessions in Beijing, the Kung Fu sessions in Shaolin Temple, Tai Chi sessions in Chen Village in Henan and Wudang Kung Fu training at Wudang Mountain.

2. Sightseeing Programs

Our sightseeing programs provide a great chance for participants to discover China's major historical and cultural attractions. Sights in Beijing include the Great Wall of China, Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven, Tian'anmen Square and Forbidden City. Henan province excursions include the famous Shaolin Temple and Chen Tai Chi Village (extension trips to Wudang Mountains or Terracotta Warriors are also available). These tours are a chance for participants to experience China's rich unique history and cultural heritage. Admission, transportation and English speaking guides are included in all of the trips.

3. Local Activities

A wide range of local and social activities will be organized throughout the trip program including a Peking Duck feast, Chinese Hot Pot night, karaoke night, Chinese teahouse, Peking opera and souvenir shopping. Our dinners and social evenings are fun-filled events and are a great way to meet other people from all over the world.

4. Culture & Arts Workshops

Culture and arts workshops on Chinese calligraphy, brush painting, Chinese medicine, Chinese cooking and traditional musical instruments are a unique opportunity for students to learn and experience some of China's traditional skills and crafts. All workshops are taught and demonstrated by professionals of each craft.

5. Extension Trips

The Terracotta Warriors and Wudang Mountain are two famous historical attractions in China. An extension trip to either of these two places is available at an additional cost on the last two days of the trip.

Other extension trips to other cities such as to Shanghai, Tibet, Pingyao, Hong Kong and Yunnan are also available.

6. Free time & Personal Assistance

Our trip is full of activities, but don't worry. We have plenty of free time that allows you to rest or go shopping or, if you prefer, make your own way to explore other interesting places at each of our destinations. Our staff members treat you as friends and are always available to assist you and provide all the information you need.

This trip is ideal for those who are seeking a balanced China experience between 'toughness' and 'softness'.

2. Trip to Beijing & Shaolin (14 Days)

This trip is ideal for Kung Fu students and schools. Participants will be enjoying the relaxing first week by doing the sightseeing, cultural and leisure activities in Beijing, before undertaking intensive training at the Shaolin Temple in the second, learning external Shaolin Kung Fu or internal Buddhism Chi Gong Forms. Participants will also be able to discover the magnificent Shaolin Temple and surrounding areas. This trip is ideal for those who are seeking a balanced China experience between 'toughness' and 'softness'.

3. Beijing & Other places (14 Days)

Take an intensive training course in Beijing in the first week. Available courses include Tai Chi, Wushu, Traditional Kung Fu, Sanshou etc. Enjoy a relaxing trip to famous tourist spots in China in the second. You have the freedom to choose one or multiple destinations:
Xian, Shanghai & Suzhou, Yunnan Discovery (Lijiang, Dali, Shangri-la), Shaolin, Chen Village & Wudang, Silk Road Adventure, Yangtze River Cruise, Guilin & Yangshou.
